Stilian was born in 1964 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He studied at 'Surikov' Art College in Moscow, Russia before continuing his education at 'Nikolai Pavlovich' National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria with a specialisation in Mural Painting.

During the 1990s he experimented in the area of interior design and realised various interior design projects.

This lead him to open his Studio for furniture and interior Design „Forma S“ in 1996, where he began the production of his own range of furniture pieces and interiors.

Currently he is working and experimenting in the area of contemporary interior design, abstract fine arts and architectural design.
